Virgin Media O2
Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) faced a complex internal communications challenge that required an honest, clear and trustworthy solution.
From our initial exploratory workshops, we saw the opportunity to utilise an unused VMO2 trailer to produce a sustainable, exciting and effective experience built around a simple but powerful narrative arc: Listen. Educate. Excite.
The trailer was transformed into a walk-through story for employees and visited VMO2 sites across the UK. From the moment participants stepped inside, they were immersed in a multi-sensory journey designed to make a complex business reality feel human, accessible and relevant.
This was, by deliberate and strategic design, not “text on a wall”. Every interaction was intentional. Interactive stomp pad games, listening stations and tactile content were thoughtfully designed to maintain attention, spark curiosity and drive understanding, all within a carefully timed experience, maximising participation while ensuring message retention.
The impact was immediate and measurable. Qualitative feedback consistently referenced feeling “heard”, “clear” and “reconnected”.
This experience didn’t just tell a story, it let employees step inside it. Combining storytelling, design innovation, interactivity and technology within a mobile, sustainable format, created something genuinely immersive, deeply human and lasting in its impact.
